Rosa MacLean (Owner/ECE)
My name is Rosa and creating a childcare centre has always been my dream; and to be able to do it in the home that I grew up in is a huge bonus!
I got married in July of 2019 to my husband Ryan, and we enjoy adventuring around our beautiful Province, and walking the North Shore trails with our 2.5 year old Olde English Bulldog, Rocco.
Ryan and I welcomed our little boy in September 2022 and I have been soaking up mama hood with our little guy every chance I can get outside of work hours!
I studied Early Childhood & Education at Capilano University, and have over 12 years of ECE and childcare experience working with children from infancy to 12 years old.
As an educator, it is very important for me to be able to connect and create relationships with not only the children, but their families as well. My goal at Wildflower is to create a safe, nurturing, and inviting space for school age children to attend each day and feel like it is an extension of their own homes and creates a sense COMMUNITY.
Wildflower Childcare is all about building a community.
I feel that play takes a vital role in children’s growth and development, therefore, my centre is a reflection of this. I believe that children are our greatest teachers, and as an educator my job is to support their growth and allow them to find their place in this world.

Gabriela (Gaby) Rivero (RA Certificate)
Hi! My name is Gabriela but kids call me Gaby. I was born and raised in Chile (the last country in South America) and my first language is Spanish. You will notice right away because my accent is very strong! I have two grown up boys and I have been working with children for 16 years. In these last years, I have been working with both children and the elderly. I find that working with children and seniors can be very similar because both have similar needs.
I enjoy working with children - they can be very challenging but the job is very rewarding and I always enjoy having fun!
